Yvonne Ntiamoah
Yvonne Ntiamoah is a research fellow of acclaimed Royal College of Art in the United Kingdom. After being selected as one of the graduates from her previous education to participate in the UK Graduate Fashion Week, Yvonne worked in London as a fashion designer for 15 years before returning Ghana in 2011. In 2006, after winning the prestigious ”Professional Ghanaian Award” for Designer of the Year, Yvonne was contracted to be part of the lead team for the United Nations ‘Catwalk of the World’, in support of the UN’s hunger program. As the Founder/Creative Director at La Mack London, Yvonne created waterproof raincoats for stores and had fused all her experience to establish Ghana’s first annual Graduate Fashion Show at Radford. Her years in the fashion realm enabled her to be at the forefront of practical exposure for students of the Radford University in Accra for which she heads the Fashion and Design department.
